Will everyone I interact with on Arrangr automatically be added as a HubSpot contact?
The short answer: no. You may use Arrangr for a variety of purposes, and you might not want every person you interact with to end up in your HubSpot contacts list. Before we post Timeline events to HubSpot, we first check if the person is already a contact in HubSpot. If not, we hold off. If you want the person as a contact, however, we do offer quick one-click buttons that will let you add a contact right from Arrangr.
Does integrating just connect my own individual accounts, or does it affect everyone on my HubSpot team?
The answer is somewhere in between. When you integrate, Arrangr will only post timeline events for the activity that occurs from your personal Arrangr account, and will only add Contact search functionality to your personal Arrangr account. However, the Arrangr extension will start showing up on contact pages on HubSpot for your team members as well. Also, when we post timeline events on your behalf, anyone on your HubSpot team who is able to view that contact can see the events we posted. However, the links in the timeline events only work if you are logged into your personal Arrangr account, so they won't be able to load these pages if they are not signed in to your Arrangr account.
Why is HubSpot telling me I don't have permission to integrate?
If you are part of a team on HubSpot, and the administrator for your account has only granted you access to contacts that are assigned to you, then HubSpot will not let you grant integration permissions to Arrangr.
If I don't want my accounts linked anymore, how do I disconnect?
On Arrangr, to disconnect, go to your "Profile & Settings" page, scroll down to "Integrations", and click on "HubSpot Integration Settings". From the popup that arises, click "Disconnect". Once you do this, Arrangr will stop posting to your timeline, and stop searching your contacts. Note that if you have linked two different Arrangr accounts to the same HubSpot account, if you want it disconnected from both accounts, you will have to take this action from both accounts.
After disconnecting from Arrangr, you may still see Arrangr under your integrated apps list on HubSpot. To get us to totally disappear from your HubSpot account, on HubSpot go to Settings -> Integrations -> Apps. In the list of connected apps, you can click "Disconnect" by Arrangr. Note that if you haven't disconnected from Arrangr's end, taking this action from HubSpot won't totally cut off Arrangr's access to your account. So make sure you disconnect from your Arrangr Settings page as well.
I stopped seeing the Arrangr card under my HubSpot contacts . . . Why?
One possibility is that one of your HubSpot team members disconnected the Arrangr app. Unfortunately, even if you were the one who installed it, and even if you are the admin on the account, other team members have the ability to disconnect Arrangr from HubSpot. If you want to get it back, you can just disconnect and re-connect HubSpot from your Arrangr Profile & Settings page.
