Do the people I send invites to need to be Arrangr members?
Nope! We designed Arrangr to be seamless and universal. When a non-user receives an Arrangr invite, they can view and respond to that invite on Arrangr with no need for them to sign up. Of course, they won't have access to all the benefits Arrangr users have, like seeing their calendar overlaid.
Will Arrangr send reminders about upcoming meetings?
Yes! Arrangr automatically sends a reminder to both you and the other parties the day before an event, as well as shortly before the event. You can customize the timing of these reminders from your Profile & Settings page. One exception is that if the other party has set their preferences on Arrangr to not receive reminders, then they will not receive a reminder.
How do I make sure I don't double book?
Arrangr has two useful features that both help prevent double-booking. If you linked your calendar, you can set Arrangr to put tentative placeholders in your calendar for the times that you propose in your meeting invitations. This way, you won't forget that they are there, even if the times aren't confirmed. Secondly, whenever someone accepts one of the times you proposed for a 1-on-1 meeting, Arrangr does one final check-in your calendar to make sure you don't have anything conflicting. If you do, we gracefully prompt them to go with another time. Any events that were already in your calendar when you sent the invite, we assume you were aware of and deemed not to be an actual conflict.
If I link my calendar, will people be able to see everything in it?
If you link your calendar and elect to share your busy times with others, they will not see any details about your events, other than the fact that you are busy. No title, location, description, etc. If you still don't want to share even that much information, you can still link your calendar and elect not to share your busy times. This way, you can still get the benefit of viewing your own calendar as you schedule on Arrangr, and the ability for Arrangr to automatically inserts Arrangr events into your calendar.
What if I don't want Arrangr to email my invite?
When you send a 1-on-1 invite, before sending you can elect not to have Arrangr email the invite on your behalf. If you want, we will provide you with a formatted-for-email version of the invite you can paste into your personally composed email to send yourself. Or, you can just copy the link for the invite, and send it to them however you choose.
What if I don't have their email address?
No problem! Whether it's a 1-on-1 or group event, you can share the invite with people through a link, enabling them to give us their info as they accept your invitation.
