Once you have set up your scheduling page to take payments, your clients will see the price when they visit your scheduling page, like in the image below:

Then, once your client hits the "Continue" button in the Review step of your scheduling page, they'll be prompted to enter their payment info, like in the image below:

Instant-Book Meetings

When your client submits their payment info, we have Stripe authorize the charge on their card without actually charging it (similarly to when a hotel places a hold on your card but doesn't charge you until you check out). After authorizing the charge, Arrangr double checks that you're still available for the time they submitted, and if so, we book the meeting and capture the charge on behalf of your Stripe account, so the funds go directly to you. If it turns out that the time they selected is no longer available, then Arrangr will not yet trigger the charge to be captured and will prompt them to select another time. If they bail, then their card will never be charged, although the charge authorization may show up on their credit card statement. However, if they select a new time and re-submit, then Arrangr will not have to re-collect their payment info, and will still capture the charge as soon as the meeting is booked.

Non-Instant-Book Meetings

If your scheduling page does not use Instant-Book, Arrangr Arrangr will collect their payment info and authorize the charge when they submit their invitation. Even though they have authorized the charge at this point, the payment is not actually captured the meeting is confirmed (when you accept a time they proposed). It's important to be aware, however, that their authorization of the charge is only good for 7 days, so the meeting must be booked within that time frame to successfully capture the payment.

If you decline their invitation, or if you do not confirm a meeting time within 7 days, then their card will not be charged. They may see an item on their card statement showing that they authorized the charge, which can sometimes lead to confusion, but until Arrangr actually captures the charge on your behalf, no funds are transferred, and if it doesn't happen the amount will be returned to their balance.

Back-and-Forth Invitations

If they authorize a charge when sending you an invite, but you then respond by suggesting alternative times back to them, Arrangr will still capture the charge when they accept your counter-proposal. Even if it goes back and forth a few times before a time is confirmed, the charge will be captured once a time is confirmed, as long as it is within 7 days of the original charge authorization.
