When you schedule an event through Arrangr, Arrangr will automatically insert it into your calendar for you with all the relevant details.

How to Set It Up

To set up Arrangr to insert events into your calendar, go to your Profile & Settings (https://arrangr.com/my_profile), then click "Settings" and proceed to the "Calendars" section. If you HAVE NOT already connected your calendar account, follow the steps to do so, and then Arrangr will ask you which calendars you want to use from that account - the one you choose for the "Insert" step (after selecting your "busy" and "view" calendars), will be used for inserting your Arrangr events. If you HAVE already connected your calendar account, then click the "edit" button next to "Insert Events". From here you will be able to select the calendar you wish to use for this purpose.

While Arrangr lets you choose multiple calendars for the "show me as busy" and "visible to me" settings, you will only select one calendar to use for us to insert your events.

When Events Get Added

As soon as a meeting is confirmed and you are confirmed to be attending, Arrangr will add it to your calendar. For example, if someone sends you a 1:1 meeting invite, then once you accept one of the times, Arrangr will add it. Or if you send someone a 1:1 meeting invite, as soon as they accept one of the times Arrangr will add it. If you create a group event, then Arrangr automatically marks you, the organizer, as attending and adds it to your calendar as soon as it is created. If you take a poll created by someone else, you have the option to "Auto-RSVP" for times that you marked as available. If you selected this option, then as soon as the organizer locks in a specific time for the meeting, if it's one you indicated you were available for, you'll be marked as "attending" and it will be added to your calendar. Otherwise, you will need to RSVP - once you RSVP as attending, Arrangr will immediately insert it into your calendar. Similarly, if you are invited to attend a group event on Arrangr, then as soon as you RSVP as attending, it will be added to your calendar.

Placeholders for Tentative Times from a Sent 1:1 Invite

When you send a 1:1 meeting invite to someone and are awaiting their response, Arrangr can put tentative placeholders in your calendar for you for the times you proposed. Then, when they confirm a time, Arrangr will remove all the other times from your calendar, and add all the details to the time they confirmed. To set this up, when you are selecting your "Insert" calendar (as in the instructions above under "How to Set it Up"), there is a checkbox option to "Insert tentative sent 1:1 invites". Make sure this is selected and then save, and this setting will be applied.

Placeholders for Poll Times

When you take a poll, Arrangr can put tentative placeholders in your calendar for all of the times you indicated were good for you. Once the organizer locks in a final time for the meeting, the full details will be added in your calendar for that particular time, and the other tentative times will disappear from your calendar.
