Arrangr's group events are a great way to keep your group meetings organized. They can help you to collect RSVPs, share the details clearly to your participants, get the event on everyone's calendar, remind participants when the meeting is approaching, and more.

Two ways to create

If you still need to determine a time and place that works for your group, then your first step will be to create an Arrangr poll, so that your participants can share their availability and preferences (see our polls overview here). Your poll can then be converted into an Arrangr group meeting once you lock down the best option. On the other hand, if you already know when and where the meeting will take place, then you can go ahead and simply create an Arrangr group event. Whichever approach you take, begin by clicking "New Group Event" from the Arrangr menu - you can then select which route you will take.

Clearly share the details

One benefit of creating your group meeting in Arrangr is that it makes all the details for the meeting clearly communicated, in one place. You can simply share the Arrangr link for the event to anyone you want to attend. Then they can see the timing in their own timezone, see where to meet with directions, or how to connect with the call details. They can also see who else is attending, what the agenda is, and can easily add it to their own calendar.

Collect RSVPs

Another benefit of Arrangr group events is that they make it easy to collect RSVPs, and know who is attending. Arrangr clearly displays who is attending, who isn't, who hasn't responded, and even lets you have Arrangr send people gentle reminders to RSVP.

Get it on everyone's calendars

Arrangr makes it easy for all your participants to insert the event in their calendar with a simple click. This is especially helpful for events where the participants all have different calendar systems, or when you don't know what email address corresponds to the calendar they want to use.

Remind everyone when the event is approaching

Arrangr automatically sends reminders to your participants, helping to reduce no-shows. By default, each participant will get two reminders - one 24 hours before and one either 20 minutes before (for remote meetings) or 2 hours before (for in-person meetings). However, you can customize the timing of these reminders, or turn one or both of them off.
