Arrangr's goal is to handle the complexities and complications of real-world scheduling, which means Arrangr can do a lot! But when you boil it down, the basics of Arrangr are pretty simple. Here is a quick overview of the main ways to use Arrangr, but we encourage you to dive deeper into what we can do and nerd out with us!

Scheduling 1:1 Meetings

Arrangr has two main ways you can go about scheduling 1:1 meetings - using "inbound" booking pages, or sending "proactive" custom 1:1 meeting invites. Some of our users prefer to use booking pages for a more "set-it-and-forget-it" approach to scheduling their 1:1 meetings, while others prefer the proactive nature of our custom one-off invites, while many use both depending on the scenario.

Booking Pages

These are pages you can set up with your scheduling preferences and availability, and give the link to that page out to people for them to schedule or book with you. There are a lot of ways you can customize these pages to cover different use cases, flows, and preferences, but they are very easy to set up at a basic level. Every user gets to create one main, "default" scheduling page with their own link (something like arrangr.com/yourname), but you can keep creating additional scheduling pages, each targeted toward different types of meetings (like arrangr.com/yourname/15-minute-video-call, arrangr.com/yourname/lunch, arrangr.com/yourname/product-demo, etc).

Custom 1:1  Invites

Sometimes you might want to hand-select some times to suggest to the other party. Perhaps your schedule is just too chaotic for your scheduling page to do the trick, or maybe the needs of this particular meeting are just unique so that it doesn't fit in the box of your scheduling page, or it could be that you just want to take a more proactive approach, and leave fewer steps for your recipient. With Arrangr's custom 1:1 invites, you can select numerous times, or even highlight ranges of time that you want to propose to the other party. You can also propose multiple locations or call methods for them to pick from, or even offer different options for different times. Your recipient can then easily accept an option you proposed, or send back alternatives. You can feel free to fire off 1:1 invites even while you're waiting for recipients to respond without worrying about double-booking, due to Arrangr's double-booking avoidance!

Scheduling Group Meetings

While even 1:1 meetings can be a pain to schedule, group meetings can multiply that annoyance by an order of magnitude. Fortunately Arrangr keeps things organized for you, and helps you iron out the timing and other details of your group meeting without the process spiraling out of control. There are two basic approaches to setting up group meetings on Arrangr. You can simply create the event if you already know when and where it will take place, or you can create a poll to determine the best option (time, place, call method).

Meeting Polls

When you're trying to determine the best time to hold a meeting with several, or many, people, we all know things can get chaotic. But Arrangr polls can reign in that chaos, and help you find a time that works for everyone. Or, if you need to figure out the best place or call method in conjunction with the time, we can handle that too. Arrangr polls are very easy to create and for your participants to take, but they can be customized with a many variable settings to work for a variety of use cases.

Group Meetings

Once you've determined when and where the meeting will take place, most of the battle is won, but it's far from over. You still need to confirm who's attending and who's not (maybe whether they're attending in-person or remotely), share the details like how to connect to the meeting, get it on people's calendars, make sure they get a reminder as the meeting is approaching, etc.  Whether you used an Arrangr poll to determine the timing or not, you can lock the meeting down as an Arrangr Group Event, and Arrangr will help take care of those tedious but important tasks.
